# An open mind. A critical eye.

There’s room for wonder without surrendering your judgment.
That’s the idea behind uap.fun.

## For the curious among us

This is a growing field guide to UFO encounters and the culture around them. We collect notable reports, explain their context, and point you to the material you can read for yourself.

## The record and the story

Encounter files distinguish witness reports, documentary evidence, and unresolved questions. Lore articles explore the histories and claims that gather around those events. A report being genuine does not mean its interpretation is correct.

## Sources before certainty

We favor original documents, official archives, and firsthand statements. Official sources can still have limitations; their value is that readers can inspect what they actually say. Every case and field note links to its sources.

## Images set the scene

The UFO and landscape artwork is AI-generated. These illustrations set the scene and do not depict the reported events. Historical photographs and documents are identified and credited beside each image.

## An archive that can grow

Our founding collection includes three encounters and three field notes. The aim is to build carefully: useful context, traceable sources, and space to revise a conclusion when the evidence changes.
