## Decades of documentary work

Fox’s UFO filmography reaches back to UFOs: 50 Years of Denial? in 1997, followed by Out of the Blue in 2003 and I Know What I Saw in 2009. His work has also included Pretty Slick, about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. ## The Phenomenon and a wider audience

The Phenomenon, released in 2020 and narrated by Peter Coyote, brought together historical cases and the renewed attention surrounding military UAP reports. Its participants and archival material include figures such as Harry Reid, Christopher Mellon, and Jacques Vallée. Fox’s emphasis on officials, pilots, and investigators reflects his effort to make the subject a mainstream public discussion. ## Returning to Varginha

Moment of Contact, released in 2022, narrowed the focus to the reported 1996 events in Varginha, Brazil. Fox and his team visited locations, worked with local researchers, and interviewed people describing unusual creatures, a possible crash, and military activity. ## The Program and congressional disclosure

The Program, released in 2024, shifted toward the congressional effort to investigate what intelligence agencies know about UAP. It follows the debate surrounding testimony and allegations of concealed retrieval programs. In a release-period interview, Fox described the production as independently financed and discussed the difficulty of completing and distributing it. Those comments offer a view of the filmmaking process as well as his commitment to the subject.
